Western North Carolina will have a vibrant and healthy nonprofit sector that works in concert with individuals, business and government to address needs and opportunities so that our communities succeed and thrive.

Our Mission

Nonprofit Pathways strengthens organizations that are vital to the future of Western North Carolina.

Guiding principles:

I.  Create a learning community that:

• Provides high quality, state-of-the-art programming and resources with practical applications as defined by WNC nonprofits
• Enhances networking within the sector

• Increases nonprofits' ability to achieve their mission
• Strengthens the skills and effectiveness of nonprofit staff and volunteer leaders
• Attracts participation by nonprofit representatives with varying levels of experience and expertise

II.  Advance the identity and stature of the regional nonprofit sector
