Pathways training provides:

  • Experienced consultants who know nonprofit management issues;
  • Instruction in how to build new capacities in leadership, adaptability, management and operations;
  • A tailored report on your organization's priorities for improvement;
  • Free follow-up support by the consultant, to encourage implementation of what's learned.

Requirements

Organizations interested in having an On-Site Training must:

  1. Be located in or serving one or more of the 18 counties designated as Pathways service area
  2. Complete an on-line Assessment
  3. Meet Intermediate Criteria, and
  4. Submit a brief On-Site Training Application, which includes information about eligibility criteria, time involved, and cost.

Time Commitment and Participation

On-Site Training typically lasts three hours; an additional two hours each is required by the Executive Director and Board Chair for preliminary discussions.  Key staff and a minimum of 80% of board members must participate in order to gain shared knowledge and move forward together.

Fee

Board Best Practices: $300 for organizations with annual budgets $100K to $499K; $500 for budgets over $500K.  Fees may be waived under certain hardship circumstances; make request to Pathways Director.
