Each fall, you are invited to attend our WNC Nonprofit Leadership Forum, which focuses on a timely topic -- particularly targeted to Board Chairs and Executive Directors.  This session combines practical knowledge and inspiration, delivered by experienced practioners in our field.

Focus of Past Forums

2009 --Sea Change: How Nonprofits Are Adapting to the New Nonprofit Environment

2008 -- Building Core Capacities for Challenging Times: The Nonprofit Life Cycle; over 160 nonprofit representatives participated from 14 western counties and the Qualla Boundary

2007 -- Leading Together: Making the Most of the Board Chair/Executive Director Relationship; over 100 nonprofit representatives participated from around the region.

2006 -- In October 2006, we had 100 board and staff  participants representing 16 counties from around Western North Carolina for our 1st Nonprofit Leadership Forum.  The Forum focused on the challenge of leadership changes in nonprofits, which are accelerating due to the baby boomer generation retiring.
