Identifying Priorities for Improvement and Motivation for Positive Change
Nonprofit organizations continually evolve, going through a life cycle of development based on how long they have been in existence, who the leaders are, and what community issue or need they are addressing. For groups to work most effectively, leaders need to
- understand their roles and responsibilities,
- have consensus and a plan for the direction of the organization.
WNC Nonprofit Pathways offers the following assistance to organizations. Click on the bold title below for more information.
On-site: All are provided on-site, at the organization, in order to maximize participation and tailor the program to the group's needs.
Consultant-led: These programs are led by highly experienced consultants who receive special training from WNC Nonprofit Pathways.
On Your Schedule: Sessions are scheduled at a time convenient to the nonprofit organization.
Board Best Practices Training - 2.5-hour session on-site session covering the key roles and responsibilities of Board members, as well as how to work well as a team.
Organizational Assessment - Two on-site sessions with board and staff to identify strengths and challenges, and choose priority areas for improvement.
Organizational Development Grants - Once areas of improvement are identified, groups may select a consultant to work with them on key areas such as strategic planning, financial management, leadership transition, and more.
