With the heightened government scrutiny of nonprofits, as well as increased penalties for non-compliance, are you on top of the latest tax, legal, accounting and governance requirements?

In response to requests from the Western North Carolina nonprofit community, each Spring we offer a short course in the latest legal and regulatory requirements and issues facing our sector.

This Year's Program

Our April 4, 2008 program will be offered in two parts; attendees may come to one or both parts.

• Part A -- Laws Governing N.C. Nonprofits (overview of requirements, repeated annually)
• Part B -- Compliance Update 2008 (focus on state lobbying regulations and other new changes)
