Have you and your organization got the basics covered? First and foremost among many organizational responsibilities is compliance with a myriad of requirements, regulations, and expectations. Leaders of tax-exempt organizations have a legal and fiduciary obligation to ensure they are returning the public's trust by operating in compliance and exercising good management practices. In this age of heightened accountability, be sure you don't sink the ship; be informed.
