Human Services organization: New fundraising and marketing stabilize time-tested programs
"The Sustainability Consultancy showed us that we needed to stabilize the organization. The Assessment focused us on development, marketing, and branding. We had always had good programs that were flexible and adaptable, but we were not doing great things to sell it.
Our subsequent work through the Impact Grant is giving us the tools to do just that.
- We are running in the black this year for the first time since 2003.
- We are building awareness: already this year we have doubled the number of individual donors from last year and have launched an award-winning PSA campaign.
- We have a draft fund development plan, and the organization has never had one before. By the end of the fiscal year, we will have our first full strategic plan.
- We have the tools we need to move forward for the next three years, be sustainable and expand our programming, which is already working.
